Hello my friends,
I am in London, waiting for the plane home. My trip is finished. I started
it exactly 3 months ago. There is a saying, you cannot have your cake and
eat it in the same time (or something like this). In my last trip I ate
several of my life long dream. I was at the roof of the world, Tibet; I
stayed in the used be forbidden city Lhasa, I saw Potala. I saw Himalayas
and rode bike to the Everest base camp; made half of Annapurna circle;
have seen Nepal and India. Pictures in our imagination are usually exceed the reality. But I should say that Everest,
Taj Mahal and Potala exceeded my expectations. The problem is I do not
have these dreams anymore, I ate them.
It is possible to travel for health reason. A rush of adrenaline washed
away all diseases which start to grow in your body during the normal quiet
life, especially if you are not so young. Running after the train which
carried away your belongings produces more adrenaline then running
on a treadmill. But travel for health alone would be boring. Some
people asked me, where will be my next trip. I do not know, my major goals
has been achieved... Does anybody has any suggestions?
In conclusion I would like to thank all of you for reading my Travel
Notes, and especially these who reply on them. I also would like to thank
Vladimir Kelman and Channell Wasson for publishing my notes on ledorub.poxod.com
and www.bromptonbike.com.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU
THE END.
